Installation

HMMLogo can be installed either using pip or from source.

Note

In order to run HMMLogo, the HMMER software suite needs to be installed on your system.

Installing with pip

To install hmmlogo with pip, use the following command:

$ python -m pip install hmmlogo

Installing from source

The source code for hmmlogo can be found at its GitHub repository.

Clone the public repository using git.:

$ git clone https://github.com/imyp/hmmlogo

Change to the root directory and install using pip.:

$ cd hmmlogo
$ python -m pip install .
